Engines of Logic traces the history of the pioneers of mathematical thought that led to the development of the first computers. Recommended if you are a math or computer nerd.

The East Village Opera Company does rock versions of famous opera arias. The band is composed of keyboards, guitar, bass, drum, string trio, and two vocalists.

We saw them live a few months ago, and at first I was skeptical. However, it turns out that they ROCK. It’s not cool, ironic, indie rock. It’s eighties-style guitar shredding rock. The first concert was so good, we saw them again last night.

Definitely worth seeing.

It’s like a French Gilbert and Sullivan musical. It’s got a cheesy old-school plot, but the songs are a catchy and the sets are fun.
