book 13: hard boiled wonderland and the end of the world by haruki murakami

this book was excellent. taut. inventive, original. a little vanilla sky-ish, in a way, but written in 1991, so there’s no claim dispute on that one. murakami has an excellent way of making a world thats so crazy seem so believable… he writes characters with crazy tendencies and oddball lives sound so real.
excellent read.

i really wanted to say wishy-washy for my rating, but that wasnt an option, oddly enough.

so this book was “alright” and i found myself toward the end just.. not caring. i could have done with the cliffs notes, i guess, and done without the rambling “insight”. soo.. yeah. 2.6 out of 5.

this movie is seriously so fucking awesome. its going on my top ten.

read this book.

this movie is worth consuming because it makes you realize that you can be rich.

ok its good, i guess, and for the day, maybe a little extra good considering what was out there. but all i hear when i hear it is a guy who either sucks at writing lyrics, or is making them up as he goes along.
which isnt my bag.

this is my most favorite album ever.

this book sucked. other people who read it claimed that its great for roleplaying, and that’s cool, but nowhere on the thing did it advertise that. it was the same stuff over and over, and there were inconsistencies with the definition of zombie capabilities.
dont read it, its really trite.

pollen is better than vurt. unfortunately i read pollen before vurt. uh. its still really awesome, and i think i’ll be rereading it soon.

but nymphomation is the best.

jeff noon is one of the greatest, i wanna say sci fi, but i dont think its really considered sci fi, so, uh, authors? hes so inventive and creative.
