Why I recommend "Dinner for Schmucks" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

A BOOKHAS A COVER: I simply loved this comedic film, which I believe has more layers to it than meets the simple eye. Our preconceptions regarding others and life in general are often taken for granted as we blaze through relationships and social situations. This movie invites you to delve a little deeper in a very light hearted way. I think it’s a must see!

A story about "Lemon Tree" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The Lemon Tree is an emotional tale of a personal battle between two neighbors that signifies more than just property.

It is a story told very simply how our values respresent us and what is worth fighting for. Unfortunately it is centered on the border between Israel and Palestine, so the issue can be seen as a grander and more political one. Great acting and well filmed. I recommend it.

Why I recommend "The Reader [Theatrical Release]" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

“The Reader” has some excellent cinematography and is a moral tale that will haunt you. If Kate Winslett doesn’t get an Oscar, or a nomination at least I will be surprised. It is one of her best roles ever. Truly a great movie!

Why I recommend "Seven Pounds" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Seven Pounds is a surprising movie. I went in with no knowledge of the story at all. And I watched with an open mind just following the main character move through people’s lives, touching each one in a significant way. He had a cloak of mysteriousness about him which was not unveiled till towards the end. And then you saw how he had thought out his whole plan of personal redemption. I loved the sound track and the love interest was very real compared to the standoffishness of the main character. Little did we know what was in store for her. It is a must see movie! I cried, and you most likely will too.

Why I recommend "Let Love in" — 6 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I bought Let Love In off QVC and got the bonus DVD of the Goo Goo Dolls recording in the studio for fans…plus music videos and acoustical extras. It truly was wonderful!

A story about "Only a Woman Like You" — 6 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

He has a voice that just melts you. And his music is rather melodic as well. Great listening!

A story about "Take Time for Your Life" — 6 years ago

Cheryl Richardson says your life is not your work and advises we put ourselves at the top of our “to do” list. She encourages us to focus and redefine our priorities. She suggests getting rid of those things and people that are draining us, and instead create our dream life thru treasure mapping and using affirmations. This book should be given to all graduating high school seniors.

A story about "Life Makeovers: 52 Practical & Inspiring Ways to Improve Your Life One Week at a Time" — 6 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I like her take action challenges she presents for each weekly goal. And there’s alot of helpful resources mentioned as well. Very practical and helpful!

Why I recommend "Spirograph" — 6 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Spirograph was one of my favorite toys as a kid!!! I loved making beautiful designs with different color pens. I could spend hours playing with it.

Rice Delight! — 6 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I love this stuff, but forget thinking about calories. It’s strictly hedonistic!
