I haven’t seen a good movie that is not sci-fi for a while now. This movie is like a good sweeping story told by my grannies, it has this dreamy quality. I also enjoyed the photography/cinematography. Ricardo Darín, who I just saw in another movie called ‘Nueve Reinas (Nine Queens)’, is also becoming a favorite actor.

the characters had originally planned a road trip going to a coastal town in the province of la union but their plans changed when they got there. they ended up going further north to the city of paoay in the province of ilocos sur. loved the scenery and will definitely go there the next time im in the philippines.

this movie goes beyond being gay in the philippines. it also touches on a tradition in the island of mindanao where arranged marriage is still practiced. even though this movie looks low budget, it tries to be socially responsible at the same time fine to watch.i also liked how the characters and the events in their lives are intertwined.

The story is good. Great shots of the areas around Mayon volcano and the Bicol province. The movie also showcases the local cuisine. Makes me want to go there.
