Ok – so this movie started out kind of bland and boring and predictable and it remained predictable, but it had a certain charm about it. I really liked the way that the characters were able to look beyond the stereotypes of relationship and find the real person. The best story is the relationship that develops between Kate Winslet’s character and an old Oscar winning movie writer. In spite of initial misgivings, I have to say I liked it and would see it again.

A good book. The introduction of another series by Terry Brooks. I am ready to move on to the second book in the series.
