I sort of stumbled upon this show by accident. I began watching episode one of the first season and that was it. I was completely hooked. It’s a MUST see…and I am now continuing on with watching season 2 on HBO.
I am a huge Christine Feehan fan. I have read many of her Dark Series books and loved them. What was up with this book? I did not like it at all. The story was boring, the characters were a bit blah. It’s a bit off from her normal writings. But then again…this is just me.
I have seen this movie many times. It’s very sweet and I love the “small town” life portrayed on the screen. I aways cry at the part where Bernice is standing in the street screaming for her Daddy not to leave her behind. It breaks my heart. I love Sandra Bullock too.
The movie was okay. Just okay…
Loved George Carlin as Pop. I thought the daughter, Gertie was cute as a button too.
I recently received this book as a gift. I have to say, I love this book. It’s so versatile and useful. I also own the Sweater version of this book and I use that one just as often. I recommend this book for knitters who want to create their own patterns or styles of garments. LOVE IT!
This movie was okay. It was an enjoyable watch, but a bit odd too. I am still trying to figure out what the point was, really. I did love Sarah Jessica Parker. She’s great.
I love this book. It has helpful hints for the plus sized girl. Also, the patterns are very nice and catered to the larger woman. Love it!
Ok, the book is not horrid, or anything. It was a fascinating read. I did have some issues with the book. For one, the book was written by the male perspective mostly. It did flip flop a bit between persons. Also, the book did not have the least bit of romantic situations. It was more of a tormented love/hate type of story between two past lovers. Also, the male character was ridden with guilt and rightly so. I felt it was focused on more than it should. I don’t know…the book was good, but certainly not what I expected when I thought I was reading a sweet, romantic story on a Saturday night.
I sat down on the couch thinking this was going to be a mildly funny comedy about a dork guy trying to get his “freak on.” I was very suprised to find this movie was actually good. I laughed through the entire movie. It was hilarious to see these obnoxious guys give this poor 40 year old virgin advice on how to get layed. My favorite scene was when “Andy” got his chest waxed. I almost fell off the couch laughing so hard. It’s a must see for fun and laughs.
