WORTH CONSUMING!
A historical thriller. And in Tamil. If you can get past the first few chapters, it’s unputdownable, all the way till Vol 5. But read this in Tamil. Translations suck .

WORTH CONSUMING!
A slow starter, but unputdownable if you’re through a few chapters. Almost as good an entertainer as a Terry Pratchett, and with the added advantage of Indian settings and people. Has all the nice stuff about a classic fantasy – a good plot that moves naturally, strong characterization (Maya rocks), and a classic slightly philosphical Good vs Evil setting. Add to that some classic tomfoolery, like a three-headed bartender and a prophetic chameleon, and digs at everything, from JRR Tolkien to the Mahabharata. This book is extreme fun. Highly recommended.
