I got to see this movie at the San Diego Comic Con. It’s just ok. The story does not follow the same plot as the comic book version of the death of Superman. The fight with Doomsday was pretty good, but the rest of the movie was dull. And I hated this version of Lex Luther. I’m a Bruce Timm fan, but this is definitely not his best work.

Is it just me or is the moral of this movie, you’re just not good enough for some people so accept that and learn to settle.

The only reason to watch this is for Bernie Mac. He’s always funny. I could do without Ashton.

You can tell they made this movie for guys. There were lots of explosions, topless women and sex in public. It was kind of funny though. Worth watching if you just want an hour or two of mindless fluff.

I love movies about weddings. This one was sub-par, but it did have a couple of cute moments. I think the Wedding Planner is a much better chick-flick-wedding movie.

Yum, nothing like cold, left over orange chicken for lunch…

I can’t decide if this is worth consuming or not. I generally like Saramago’s work, but this one just didn’t pull me in. I ended up skimming through most of the middle. I didn’t get interested again until the last few chapters.

Just so you know, this does not follow the exact plot of the Ultimate Avengers comic. It’s pretty good, a little cartoony, but worth watching if you’re a fan.
