i’ve always been a batman fan, but when the last few movies came out, i felt like the franchise was eating itself alive. despite this, though, i had hopes for this movie as it seemed to have a different feel then the last few movies and i was definitely not disappointed. i really liked how his story was portrayed in this movie and though parts of it were cheesy (and everytime i saw katie holmes, i though of her and tom cruise – ew), it was overall fairly entertaining.

theere are two things i though of while watching this movie….

1.. keira knightley REALLY needs to gain some weight.
2.. was this kiss in the end really weird, or was it just me?

sure the movie is funny, but making fun of minnesotan accents can really only go so far.

i’ve always had a fascination with ireland, so when i heard about this book, i knew i had to get it. of course, i was a little biased due to the subject matter, but i really did enjoy reading it. the way delaney weaves the stories of ireland in with ronan’s own personal story was great.

parts of it are a little weak (ie. ronan’s ‘breakdown’), but overall, i enjoyed it.

i really, really, really liked ‘the secret life of bees’ so i was pretty excited about this book. unfortunately, it turned out to be more chicklit then i care for and i didn’t like the characters. it was an okay read, but i wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

i don’t think i’ll ever eat fastfood again…..at least no mc. donald’s.

i asked for this because i really love the song ‘mad world’ as sung by gary jules. the movie was okay.

i’ve never really liked shakespeare, but he’s even more difficult to read when i’m half asleep and have a deadline the next day. :|

i got this great idea that i’d borrow the book on tape of moll flanders from the library. it’s a book i’ve been wanting to read for a long time (or…finish reading…), so i thought i could just listen to the tape while i’m working out or cleaning the house or whatever.

yah….this ended up being a really great idea. pfft.

a little too much of a “romance” novel for me, but otherwise good.
