Picking it up again after putting it in cold storage after HUM class. Presently just floored by Hume’s stunningly good writing. Most enjoyable philosophy book I’ve read.
Worth consuming for Meditations and Discourse on the Method. The other stuff is possibly of interest to historians but contain no striking philosophical insights and plenty of gross errors.
Slow-paced but atmospheric.
I prefer Kubelik/Berliner Philharmoniker for the Ninth. The Seventh however is just tops. I will review the rest as I get through them.
Backhaus totally gets the spirit of Beethoven and Brahms.
I don’t see how this is any better than Harry Potter.
Brilliant excoriation of marriage. Finished this in one sitting.
Basically the same as the manual that comes with Mathematica. Not worth paying for it if you already have the software.
Furtwaengler’s famous wartime ninth.
