I really detest this textbook. Gave me no understanding whatsoever. Just calculations, calculations and more calculations.
Can’t believe I finished this in 4 days. Was exhausting.
The last chapter was poorly argued and substantiated though. Thought he never really addressed the spandrel argument.
The Geroch paper on singularities in here is a beaut.
Very well-written, but what’s with all the typos??
I wish I had read this kind of thing instead of all the pop science I read as a teenager!
Just started, but love the first ten pages already.
Frankly, I didn’t find it as interesting as I hoped, because I already knew many of the ‘surprising’ results of psychological experiments described in the book. But it’s well-written and would be a great introduction to the psychology of happiness.
Not as good as the previous book.
