I love their Szechuan Chicken ~ that’s all I ever have there! Gord (he had Black Bean Chicken) and I went there for lunch today. We do take out and eat it in the foodcourt.

Liz, Deb and I went to Casey’s tonight. The waiter, Jonathan, was very nice. I had chicken parm with linguine Alfredo which was good. My peanut butter sundae with chocolate sauce and whipped cream was very very tasty! The music was way too loud, though.

We stopped in for a couple drinks. They have a huge patio that is quite popular. We’ll definitely go back again when we are in the Yorkville area.

We went to the Jays’ game and left in the 10th inning to find a pub with A/C to watch the end of the game … Philthy McNasty. We didn’t stay long … just long enough for a snack and lots of water (though Gord had a beer too). We’ve been there before and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Having TVs at the tables is a cool idea!

I’ve driven by this place thousands of times and always wanted to check it out. So we stopped in for a couple drinks on the patio. Drinks are cheap and the cliente is interesting.

This place has intrigued us for a while. Gord is a big beer lover and was in heaven when we stopped in and looked at the beer menu. I wasn’t in the mood for a beer but the waiter recommended one from Belgium that I would enjoy if I liked red wine. So I tried it and liked it!

We went during Summerlicious (though I have been a few times before). I had a fennel apple salad with sunflower seeds to start. I had pictured a leafy green salad with chunks of apple. Who knew that fennel is white, looks like linguine and crunchy?! My steak and shoestring fries were good. And my lemon tart was tasty.
