Yes, Joet, you are absolutely right. It was laughable, but with all the heavy stuff I read, this was easy to get through. I just was very annoyed with the way she wrote, and especially with “neice” and “aunt” OKAY I GET IT, (spoiler alert), they’re not related yet ARE.

I would have felt more sympathetic towards CJ had she really truly suffered in some way shape or form, but there really wasn’t any difficulty translating her life from Manhattan to Bath. I didn’t feel too sorry for her in the long run. Predictable yes, but seemed suited for teenage wonderment.
