A story about "Lolita" — 6 years ago
I enjoyed this book. I read it during a time my parents were upset with me for being with an older man.

This was a wonderful book about a disfunctional family. Mama is taking care of all her children.
Great book, great movie.
I really loved this book. It made me cry, it touched my heart. I could picture everything that was going on. Great love story, very much a tear-jerker.
When I first started this book, I could not get into it. The author writes “differently” by the fact she sometimes has serious RUN-ON sentences. However, the story was interesting. I’d never think a woman could write about so much masculine behavior. It had serious parts too, which include, teenage pregnancy, incest, war, death, and abortion. Toward the end, I could appreciate the author’s writing style, as opposed to the time I first picked up the book.
This was an AWESOME book. If you saw the movie, you’ll like the book better. The book expresses more feeling and detail. The book made me cry, especially Antwone’s first real christmas gift. It’s a tear-jerker.
This book was great. In the beginning I was confused, and through the whole book I was lost, but the outcome really took me by surprised. It’s about FEAR.
I was at Zakiyaonline.com, and she seemed like such a down to earth person, I had to order her book. She and I have corresponded a ‘lil’. She’s really nice and her book is very much “personal.”
