This is a fantastic history of the people and ideas who built the first multimedia revolution. I re-read this every year just to remind myself of the key ideas that were nailed by these pioneers.

It’s also got some simply bloody good ideas and ‘rules’ for effective interactive design – and fantastic references to other seminal works.
