This is really, really good, and sadly, Ali Farka Touré’s last album as he recently passed away.

This is blues. This is folk. This is African, and the man plays his string-instruments masterfully. I really like the sound and the songs. The melodies have a Brian Eno-ish way of working themselves into your head, even though they’re nowhere near that free-floating, but blues-tracks onto themselves.
