Oddly charismatic Tom Hardy plays an effective, king hell psychotic convict in a very disturbing theater-of-the-absurd biopic Bronson. The film, an arty (fucked-up art, that is) take on the con Bronson’s beginnings and history, starts out serious and becomes sickeningly violent very quickly. There’s very black humor at play here which becomes unwatchable at times – not to mention the mad, catchy (misplaced?) tunes that makes one wonder… Consider yourself warned.

Interesting premise dulled by awful acting and snail-slow story pace. Instead of wasting time on this, go re-rent Se7en.

Franklyn’s a love story!? Wtf.

The first episode was a little strange, but staying with the series pays off and just keeps getting better. After Mad Men, House, Burn Notice have all run their season through – yes folks, this is the only thing left out there worth catching on the tube.

Not trademarked Crocs, no. Some ~$4 Canadian-brand, Chinese-made knockoffs, silly name of “Holey Soles” bought from a bargain bodega run by a family of Koreans. Especially now that it’s warmer I would wear my fake Crocs everywhere, they’re so comfortable! ...if only they weren’t so hideous.

● [House alert!] Dr Chase is giving birth. Give this one to six degrees fans, see how quickly they trace it back to KB.
● Karl Urban has can American accent? You had me at “Bones”, and I’m not even a Shatner-Nimoy era Trek fan.
● Romulans look all punk with face tats, but… tabi?
● Speaking of, Leonard Nimoy plays Leonard Nimoy ok.
