Seems to crystallise ideas I’ve had for a while. Unlike most science books, it talks about something I know about – the web – so is much more intellectually stimulating.
Really comprehensive overview of ambient, minimalist and related music. Some music is only slightly related, which means a big book, but then it had a big title to live up to.
Very academic. I’m struggling to get into it. Maybe I’ll skip most of it and try and find the best bits.
A story about adultery and fatherhood. I’m not very sympathetic to the main character. He tells a lot about what he’s thinking, but misses out some things I’d like to know.
