But you’d be surprised how the songs just creep inside of you and then you find yourself singing along with them and now…I love it! My favs are Breaking Free and Getcha Head in the Game (i used to cringe at that one but now i dance along with it) hehehe! definately just watch it for the laugh!

I think its Howard who sings that one. The musical input is really shared around in this album with everyone singing their own parts on each of the songs. Plus theres some nice romantic ballads on there too so go buy it!

A story about "My Take"

My Take

by Gary Barlow

I’m reading it now and I’m halfway through. If you’re a Take That fan like me then you should definately give this a read. Gary was the songwriting and composing talent when they first started out and he really made that band what it is. I think he’s a really sweet guy and he writes the book really well. The way he describes everything, you’d never think he was recalling things from over 10 years ago! I’m so happy Patience got to number 1 :) Take That are Back for Good!

from one who loved not wisely but too well (rated 1 star)

Othello (Folger Shakespeare Library)

by William Shakespeare

I hated this book. ducks behind a bush as Official Shakespeare Fanclub come running down the road in medieval costume and bow and arrow (or whatever they used to kill eachother with back in “ye olde daye”. I have to be brutally honest here but maybe it’s to be expected seeing as I’m not English (british, whatever you like), I do not and have not attended a public school, I don’t have caviar or wine with my meals and I don’t normally read by the fire with slipper wearing feet resting on a footstool with a Hugh Hefner gown on (please bear in mind, I would not be wearing this last garment anyways seeing as I am female). I didn’t read it by choice. It was for school and like finishing the book wasn’t enough I now have to go through the unbearable process of analysing these frankly predictable and some being weak, characters. I am telling you, I would have an easier time translating german and I don’t even study german but at least there are dictionaries and online translating facilities for that. I would like to know what “beseech” means, a word that I have encountered on numerous occassions throughout reading this book but where can I go to find it’s literal meaning. I’m almost certain it is no longer listed in the Collins English Dictionary but do let me check again to be sure…wow that thing gathered a lot of dust and AHA! I have been proved right – a rare occurence for me I must say especially seeing as I actually never did look up “beseech” in the dictionary before but now you see where I’m coming from (I hope) unless you fit the description of everything I am not in my brief introduction. Can I just say now that I don’t actually ever talk like this…or write like this, or even think like this – it’s hard enough for me to form thoughts into sentences most of the time. Maybe I should consider reading more Shakespeare as it seems that when I am raving on about something that I do like, it nearly always sounds like a load of waffle. So could it be that my dislike of Shakespeare’s work may actually be of benefit and make me sound that slightly bit more educated! Well who would have thought it? I’m baffled!!!

Why I recommend "The Santa Claus 3: The Escape Claus (2006)"

The Santa Claus 3: The Escape Claus (2006)

by Walt Disney

This movie ROCKS socks!!! It didn’t even matter that the earlier show got sold out so quickly that we had to hang around the shops for 3 hours before hand because it was brilliant! It’s a great family film for xmas. I was slightly confused as to why Scott’s son Charlie didn’t have as big a role in the 3rd film but I loved how it went back to the 1st and showed the history of Scott Calvin first putting on that Santa Coat. The guy who plays Jack Frost (he’s probably really famous so forgive me for not knowing his name) was hilarious in it! He was one of those baddies you know you should hate but end up loving!!! Tim Allen is the man and check out the bloopers at the end!!! unfortunately my mam legged it out of the cinema before I could see them all…

Luckily I didn’t have any money with me to buy it last week as the price of it has gone down again and I got it for a cracking 13.99 :) I’m only a few pages in but just from reading inside the cover, I never realised what a story he has to tell. I never stopped to think of his background or how he was brought up but he’s certainly got a lot to talk about. I’ll fill you in when I get a bit further :)

I liked how this kid who wasn’t great in school was willing to work hard to achieve what he really wanted to do and with the support from his friends and the school, he was able to reach the top but of course, what kind of gangsta book would it be if there wern’t a bit of street fighting and guns blazing and all that. it surprised me that i really liked it

I bought it at a sale of work at school when i was only 9 and perhaps it was a bit advanced for me but i have been reading since i was 2 so it didn’t seem a big deal at the time. I really can’t say what it was about this book that i got, maybe it was the main character, how he tried to distance yet make light fun of the circumstances and his holiday in Mexico but the love he held for his little brother and how some of the guys on the street used to drink the turtle eggs cos it was supposed to make them more manly and then he ended up gulping some down himself despite how he knew his brother would feel if he knew. Your gotta read it and see for yourself but its one of my faves!
