WORTH CONSUMING!

Exactly what I expected it was going to be. Funny, but not constantly funny like Anchorman or 40 Year Old Virgin. All your favourite characters and then some. Too long for what it was though, I found myself wondering when it was going to end. I will buy it when it comes out on DVD though.

WORTH CONSUMING!

A lot funnier and better than I expected. I generally can’t stand Matthew Lillard, but he was extremely likable in this movie. I liked the story line, and there were many laugh-out-loud instances. If you’re looking for a fun, and not so serious movie to watch with friends or by yourself, I would recommend this one.

Penguin Karaoke, that’s all it was to me.

A review of "Unknown" — 2 years ago

Mildly upset that Jeremy Sisto’s role in the film wasn’t as large as I was hoping. He being the only reason I watched it, but it was still an interesting movie.

I’ve heard many people compare it to the SAW movies, but I thought that it felt like that only for about the first 20 minutes or so. The opening of the movie really gives a Saw-esque tone, but once you watch on, it becomes more and more it’s own movie.

I’m not very good at predicting things in films, so I never know what’s going to happen. I like that I can be surprised, unlike some people. The ending wasn’t as satisfying as I had hoped, and I was left confused and forced to check imdb to see what I was missing. After a bit of research I felt better. Don’t think I would buy it myself though.

A review of "Eragon (Widescreen Edition)" — 2 years ago

Exactly what I expected. Not disgustingly terrible, but a pure kids movie. Simplistic story line, nothing much to think about. The dragon was cute, the kid was cute, but John Malkovich? Either way, I’m happy that Rachel Weisz did the dragon’s voice.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I can’t believe I went so long without seeing this movie. I love movies based in history, therefore cannot hate movies with such great costume, casts, and music. Very long movie though, but worth every second of my time. Great story as well, you really come to love the characters, I almost shed a tear. I would definitely spend my money to purhase this film.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this movie because I had never heard of it, but my friend asked if I wanted to watch it with her, she being in the same boat as me. Definitely different, and interesting, I’m still not sure of what to make of it, but I liked it! I’m sure this “review” wont be of much help to anyone, haha.

This movie just makes me wanna go, “Awwww.” Hahaha. Really though, it was better than I expected, pretty funny in my opinion. But what is with all the ‘poop’ references?

A review of "American Psycho (Unrated Version)" — 2 years ago

I know this is supposed to be one of the greatest movies of all time, but I thought it was just okay. It was weird, and confusing, though I have heard the book is more confusing along with more brutal and graphic. More murders and more details and such. And as usual, from others reviews, I’ve heard the book is much better, which isn’t uncommon with an adaptation.

I thought it was funny how he kept referring to some of my favourite music artists though; Huey Lewis and the News, and Phil Collins (minus Whitney Houston). And the way he talks is hilarious. Cristian Bale is no doubt one of the best actors of the time, so I couldn’t hate this film.

It was cute, not worth buying or renting though, I borrowed it from a friend. I know how much the world probably hates Hilary and Haylie Duff, but I don’t think they are that bad. They are cute and work well together. Of course Angelica Huston was still the best thing about the entire movie.
