Why I recommend "Shall We Dance?" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I watched this movie with my mom many, many years ago, and loved it! I was upset when they were making an American remake. I have yet to see it, and don’t really intend to anytime soon. The Japanese version is probably much better anyway! Haha.

Why I recommend "The Notorious Bettie Page" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I am an avid Bettie fan, so naturally I had to see the movie. It was exactly what I expected it to be. Not extremely horrible, but not incredibly great either. They could have done a better job casting her but I hear Gretchen Mol was the only person willing to take her clothes off for the amount they were paying. Though it was nice to see a fresh face, I liked her. I still plan on buying the film when it’s available on DVD.

Why I recommend "Testify" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is the first Phil Collins CD I ever bought, but only have one other. I love every song in the CD, he is so awesome. I fell in love with his music after watching the movie Brother Bear. I would love to get the Soundtrack for that movie as well.

Why I recommend ""A Fever You Can't Sweat Out"" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I bought this CD about a month ago because I liked a couple of the songs. I didn’t really expect all the other songs to be just as fun. I only paid 10 bucks for it, and probably wouldn’t have gotten it if it were anymore, but I’m glad I got it anyway. It’s really just my guilty pleasure band, haha.

Just a cute and funny kids film. Appropriate for all ages. Keeps your attention, well worth the 7 bucks.

Why I recommend "The Family Stone (Widescreen Edition)" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I just recently watched this movie and LOVED it. It’s true that it’s not a chick flick, which I wouldn’t have watched it if I sensed it were anyway. It’s a great family movie, for those with older children. Such a unique story that really gets your attention. It’s touching, funny, and a must see!

Why I recommend "101 Things I Wish I Knew When I Got Married: Simple Lessons to Make Love Last" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I enjoyed this book very much. I bought it right before I got married and started reading it, and even read some of it to my husband. It’s one of those books where you nod along as you read thinking “Yes, this makes sense” or “Yeah, I’ve though of that before, I feel that way.” But it also helps you remember things that you may have forgotten, and includes anecdotes for each topic. I recommend it because it’s one of those books that you can just turn to any page and read for 5 minutes without having to worry about missing anything. And even if you do read it all the way through like I did, it is a quick read.

A story about "Adventures of a Psychic" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I just finished reading this book yesterday and really enjoyed it. It not only talks about her life, but still talks about spiritual things, life on the other side (etc), tid bits of it here and there. Some parts sort of reviews parts of other books, and I liked re-reading some of the information. Though she tries not to repeat herself too much, so she keeps descriptions of things to a minimum for those who have already read it, but also gives enough information for someone who doesn’t know about it.

A story about "Visits from the Afterlife" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Don’t read this book by yourself at night. It’s scary because the stories are true!
