A story about "Of Mice and Men: (Centennial Edition)" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

One of my favorite books of all time! I’ve read it twice for school, and willingly! :-P And I’m sure we all know how much forced reading sucks, haha.

A story about "Transamerica" — 3 years ago

So I started watching this tonight with a couple friends. I’ve been wanting to see it for a while, but I the thing is, I didn’t even exactly finish it. I watched half of it and fell asleep…it was kind of dull and boring, plus I was exhausted anyway. My 2 friends said they liked it, but I just felt like it got into the story way too quickly and it wasn’t about his transformation enough (or at least from what I saw). I guess I just had higher expectations, so as of now, I’m wishy washy. But once I finish it, we’ll see if I change my mind, ha.

Why I recommend "The Break-Up" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Another one of those movies I was surprised I wanted to see. Maybe it’s just because I really like Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, and was curious to see them in this movie together. It was entertaining enough for me. Funny, but serious at times, and actually pretty realistic. Another one that wouldn’t be a bad idea to wait a rent though if you’re not insanely into these types of movies.

Why it's taking me forever to finish consuming "Interview With The Vampire" — 3 years ago

Why is it taking me so damn long to finish this book. The movie is my most favorite movie in the world, but the book is just…plah…I don’t know, but I feel like I have to force myself to finish it!

Why I recommend "Failure to Launch (Special Collector's Edition)" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’m not one for romantic comedies really, and I really only saw the last half of this movie. But what I saw I liked! It was funny and cute, and interesting, though the end was insanely cheesy, I still would like to finish it someday :-P

Why I recommend "The Devil Wears Prada" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I really enjoyed it. I was just surprised that I actually wanted to go and spend the money to see it as well. I’m not one for the theatre, so that says something, haha. It was a cute film, funny, but I don’t think really cheesy. It’s at least worth renting on DVD when it comes out.

Why I recommend "The Hobbit" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I read this many a year ago and loved it! It’s pretty much one of the best I’ve ever read. It’s good for all ages too! So you could probably read it to your little ones at bed time or something, and enjoy it right along with them.

Why it's taking me forever to finish consuming "Sylvia Browne's Book of Dreams" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Alright, well I’ve been getting a little more into. Maybe I just have more concentration as opposed to when I first started reading it. I’m almost half way done, and I’ve been thinking about it a lot.

Why I recommend "Valley of the Dolls (Susann, Jacqueline)" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Definitely a page turner. I had always been interested in reading it and found it at a thrift store for a buck once. I loved it, even though the ending was sort of a disappointment, it was still worth the read! It’s really long though, but since it was such a fascinating book, I got through it quickly. I even rented the movie to watch when I as complete! My friend also gave me the sequal to the book, called Shadow of the Dolls, which I have yet to get around to.

Why it's taking me forever to finish consuming "Sylvia Browne's Book of Dreams" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I haven’t really been as into this Sylvia book as I have the others. Maybe I’m tired of reading her books, and need a break. I don’t know, but I’m about 50 pages in and just want to get it over with. I don’t think that is exactly the kind of attitude to have while reading a book.
