I rented this because my son asked me to. Alex is 6, and I did a pre-view on the movie last night to see if it was good material for him. I think the movie is fun, and I don’t think it would be too scary for a 6-year-old (ymmv, etc.), but I gave it the parental thumbs-down based on 2 quotes – 1) “you are such a DICK!” (in the first 2 minutes), and 2) “this really SUCKS!”. Sure, I’m no puritan, but I’d rather not introduce these phrases into my childs lexicon… I’m sure it will come sometime, just not today…

This album ROCKS! Fresh funky sounds – like the best from the 70’s, but brand new. When these guys come to town, count me in!

Wow – dark and jumping and every chapter is a different prose style and will-I-ever-figure-out-what-happened and oh boy I better finish since Anne needs to read it next for her book group. :)

Enjoyed it—light, but interesting reading. Not being a Catholic myself, it was educational in that respect.

Love this book—very educational from a history of Buddhism perspecitve, but still an excellent adventure story (plus personal growth, etc etc.). Recommended.

Excellent book on all the facets of golf – mental, physical, emotional, etc. Maybe combining this with “Getting Things Done” will give me the extra time I need to go practice…!

Excellent—I agree whole-heartedly with Warren about how good these stories are. All fun in their own right, and Ms. Gunn is a wonderful writer.

Fun stuff – light, but fun. Looking forward to seeing the movie of the first 3 books (with Jim Carrey as Count Olaf…)
