Erotically charged, not overtly gory, and very fast paced.

I couldn’t put it down, I lost track of time, and I am dying to get my hands on the rest of the series—all signs (in my humble opinion) of a really good book.

I think most high school freshman have had to read this book and if you had a teacher who taught it as well as my freshman English teacher did, the story has stuck with you long past graduation.

It’s a wonderful book filled with suspense, hope, shady dealings, eccentric characters, love, and a tangled storyline that is beautiful to unravel.

Completely worth reading and one I will definitely pour over again when it is my children’s turn to read it.
