A review of "On the Edge: the Spectacular Rise and Fall of Commodore" — 3 years ago
I have been reading this book, and it’s awesome.
Granted, the first chapter is hard to read because it’s all like “Peddle said”, “says Peddle”. But after the first chapter, it really is very much fun to read!
It’s not really only focused on the actual computers, but the life of the people behind this. It tells pretty detailed the life (since for most work at Commodore was their life) of the engeneers and all kinds of fun stories about what has happened including a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff!
It’s 100% worth reading! A must for anybody that has a slight interest of computers and IT!
