WORTH CONSUMING!

I was somewhat bored until the bear showed up, and then I kept laughing out loud. This series has a lot of potential, so I’ll be reading the second volume.

How "The Roar of Love: A Musical Journey Into the Wonder of C.S. Lewis' Narnia" changed my life — 11 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I love this album so incredibly much. I am a big fan of the books, and was recommended the album from other fans. I am not a Christian, but the album is like the books in that Christianity isn’t too obviously apparent for those who love the story. I probably listen to this album at least once a week, if not more. It is very comforting to me, and I am glad that I eventually found it.

Loved it! — 21 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I haven’t read the books, but it really made me want to pick them up. The story was more sophisticated than I expected, and I can’t wait to read the actual text.

Argh! — 22 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

My only qualm with this volume was the ending – it left off in a bad spot! But that’s suspense for you, I suppose.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I think this documentary is worth watching just for the seven minutes that you see Bush sitting on his butt, doing nothing. It is so disturbing to see, because you can tell he has absolutely no bloody idea what to do. I don’t know what is worse – that he has so many connections to the Saudis and the bin Laden family, or that he just sat there. It makes my blood boil, either way.

And for those who say Michael Moore hates America: Watch this film. It is so clearly obvious that he does not, and has a deep love for this country gone awry.

Shows the real Al Franken... — 26 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This DVD is about how he got into politics, and profiles him up to his decision to be in 2008 Senate race in Minnesota. It shows his humor, his passion for politics, and how he started “The O’Franken Factor”. I really enjoyed seeing him deal with Republican snots, and how freakin’ cute his wife is with his teasing. Made me more of a Franken fan – and thank goodness I live in Minnesota, and can vote in the senate race.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I make these stand-alone for on a bun, and they are freakin’ awesome. They have a full-bodied flavor, and are really juicy. They are not greasy like I remember brats to be (and thank goodness), but they are a satisfying size and taste for cravings. I look forward to making them with pasta, and I think they would work well in any recipe calling for a spicy and sweet sausage. Yum.

WORTH CONSUMING!

And I found myself having a ton of energy too, without feeling jittery.

WORTH CONSUMING!

When I saw that my local grocery store started carrying these, I did a little dance – right next to the dairy section, lol.

I really dig these, and they make quick lunches a lot easier.

A story about "Tofurky Roast" — 30 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I think I finally perfected how to cook one of these: I use a slow cooker; then throw in cubed potatoes, rutabagas, sliced pears, and the roast itself – then pour a glaze of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Soy Sauce, and Pear juice on top of all of it. (I also throw a few sliced pears on top of the roast itself.) I added liquid until it was about halfway up the roast; then left it on high for four hours. It was so flavorful, and beautifully moist – yet not soggy. The only thing I might add next time are some carrots, but I really dug it the way that it was. :)
