A story about "Survival Is Not Enough" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

One of the few books I’ve read that applies evolutionary ideas to business and succeeds. Seth makes compelling arguments as to why businesses, departments and employees need to make evolution part of the way things are done everyday and how to do so.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Amazing audio quality, battery life, format support. Replaced my iPod Shuffle mainly because it lacks a screen. Now that I am using it, I also love its superior audio quality.

A story about "Looking for Spinoza: Joy, Sorrow, and the Feeling Brain" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The book is broken up into multiple parts; what neurobiology tells us about what emotions and feelings are, a brief biography of Spinoza, his work and their effects. All of which were interesting and a good read for those interested in cognitive science or the history of science.

A story about "Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid" — 6 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was one of the most rewarding books I ever read. Godel’s Proof never made as much sense. The Zen koans were great. Self-reference at every level!

A story about "The Collected Stories of Vernor Vinge" — 6 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

One of the best collections of short sci-fi stories I’ve ever read. A few of the stories were incredibly prescient too.

A story about "Cryptonomicon" — 6 years ago

The first Stephenson I read. I was so impressed that within the last months I’ve read almost everything else by him. A great introduction to cryptography and why it matters.

A story about "Snow Crash (Bantam Spectra Book)" — 6 years ago

Way better than Neuromancer. If you liked either Neuromancer or this, be sure to check out Vernor Vinge’s short story “True Names”.
