This was actually a better musical than I expected. It wasn’t anything like Louisa May Alcott’s novel—in fact, many of the storylines were altered, I guess to make it better for the stage. It doesn’t rival the “great” musicals out there, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s cute, it’s entertaining and the tour cast at least made it lots of fun to watch.
