A story about "The Drawing of the Three (The Dark Tower, Book 2)" — 5 years ago
This was a very good listen.

This was a very good listen.
A very good novel with only minor flaws, largely having to do with an imbalanced voice.
I enjoyed this novel, but I chose not to expect much of it. Paolini makes a large number of new-fantasy-novelist mistakes, which I’m sure will haunt him later. His language skills, style, and vocabulary are excellent, though, so I am confident he will develop into a first-rate author.
I just finished this book. It’s good—I wouldn’t recommend reading it at the same time you read other family-history types of novels, just because it seems like you’d miss out on something in the comparison.
I finished this book this morning. Wonderful, light summer reading!
I enjoyed this book, but I disagreed with the ending.
This is a wonderful book to read…. if you’re a fencer. If you’re not a fencer, you’re probably going to be left blinking and saying “um…. ooookaaaay….” It’s historical fiction, but the details of the history are far less developed than the details of the fencing. I suppose that means the author really got into his protagonist’s mind, but it also means that the reader is left as clueless as the protag until the very end of the novel.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable fantasy novel. Deeply satisfying, a very full cast of characters, a rich political storyline. Very well done, Mr. Martin.
I loved this collection so much, I went out and bought all 4 sequels yesterday. Amazing stuff!
This is an interesting book on long-distance running; a good reader for a beginner like me.
