Book’s a decent length, beginning starts out slow, and a bit after the middle of the book you really wonder how it’s going to end. I wasn’t disappointed at all. I didn’t find the book to be too technobabbleish but there was still enough attention to detail.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t tear up at least a little bit when Cochrane fell in love. This was before I remember that James Cromwell portrayed Cochrane in Enterprise. :(
