i didn’t care to finish it. she tries too hard to be funny, and while i generally enjoy taking potentially boring situations and turning them into something brilliant, she just doesn’t do it.

Morgan, my nonfiction teacher, was cleaning out her apartment and she decided to give some books away. I took this one. So far I am enjoying it; I have always loved the not-using-quotation-marks thing.

i hadn’t intended to reread this book, but as i was searching through it for a certain line, i came upon the scene where ender pins bean to the wall and says, “when i say i teach a certain way, that’s the way i teach.” and i was like ngfo4iatnh4th i freaking love ender. so i’m reading it again.

This is probably my favorite Palahniuk book to date.

lent to me by katiker. i rather enjoyed it, though i didn’t like the character names and it had no profound meaning to me.

awesome. actually, i think what i liked most about this book was the names—jacob, asher, abram, gabe. good names.

this is the first book we ever read for american lit. too bad we NEVER FINISHED IT. because mack is STUPID and says part II is too boring to read. boring?! like we didn’t read the entire anthology?

anyway. kind of okay book, tiring.

though it does have everything, as someone else here said, it’s not for everyone. i loved it.

eh. okay. better than black boy, that’s fo sho.
