A quick read, this book (like the characters in it) travels from Arizona to Kyrgyzstan to Isanbul, presenting all the while a compelling story and interesting people. Worth it.

I couldn’t figure out what was going on here, but also none of the characters in the movie was compelling enough to make me want to figure out what was going on here. Bah.

Mostly this is a book of photos of buildings. It’s a very well-constructed book, even a beautiful book, but I would like it much better if there were pictures of things that weren’t (mostly empty) buildings.
