Despite the main title of this book, the majority of the book does not seem to focus upon Pornography specifically but contains a general diatribe against men. I found her arguments interesting but they often lacked anything resembling evidence and she presented a very one-sided, anti-male view. There were several points in the book where she could have acknowledged and explored the damage that myths of masculinity have perpetrated upon men but chose to focus exclusively upon the damage and violence perpetrated upon women. I would have liked to have seen a more balanced argument that focused more heavily upon pornography with some more evidence. As the book stands, it is a highly polemical piece that seems to simply be a representation of Andrea Dworkin’s feelings about men. It’s interesting, but not particularly enlightening.
