eu li uma boa parte dele, e ‘tava achando legal… mas começou a fazer tantas referências cruzadas sobre cinema e literatura, sobre coisas que eu nunca tinha visto e lido, que eu pensei que eu precisava de um pouco mais de preparo antes de seguir em frente. um dia eu volto…

uma ótima leitura. acabei me enrolando bastante para começar a lê-lo, mas depois de começar a leitura me capturava a atenção sempre que eu podia. apesar de passar pelas teorias mais importantes da história da física, o livro não é maçante, muito pelo contrário. recomendo a todos que gostam de história, de ciência em geral, e de um bom e divertido livro. :)

Acho que foi um dos livros que eu mais gostei do John Grisham até hoje. Algumas cenas me fizeram rir um bocado, e desconfio que só não fizeram um filme até hoje porque seria um pouco repetitivo outro caso de processo contra uma empresa malvada pela família de alguém que morreu por causa dela (tem o com o Gene Hackman, “O júri”, ou “Runaway jury” no original, que fala especificamente do mesmo tema). Mesmo assim, acho que daria um filme divertido.

Depois de um minuto de pesquisa, descobri que já existe o filme (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119978/). Oh, well, eu odeio estar sempre certa. ;P Agora vou dar é jeito de assisti-lo. :)

a great great great book… I’ve heard of Clarke for a long time since I decided to give it a try. started some months ago, with 2001, and this is the second I’ve read. absolutely fantastic, can’t wait to read the others!

a bit fun, I must confess—but no way comparable to Arthur Conan Doyle. I still prefer the classic Sherlock Holmes books…

a masterpiece, indeed. everything on it is just magical, from the scene selection to the special effects and, of course, the soundtrack. magical.

hint: I don’t think I’d enjoy it so much if I haven’t read the book before… I wouldn’t notice the little details that make it so perfect. perhaps it’s a hint for those who want to watch it, in the future.

I don’t like choosing, but these are for sure among my favorite movies. very well-written, done and directed; very nice, rich and detailed stories behind them; great actors… oh, and the soundtrack, of course. a genious’ work!!

for me, it’s more about an action than a sci-fi movie… but it’s fun, nonetheless, and kept my attention the whole movie. at least the first time I watched it. :)

it’s not everything the first movie was, but it was to me scary too, and… well, I don’t think I would watch it alone at night. :P

I guess this is the scariest (or one of them, at least) movie I’ve ever seen. EVER.
