WORTH CONSUMING!

This is moving.

I have been to Kenya. I thought I had seen poverty. I never realized that from a Sudanese perspective, Kenya is a luxurious place in which to take refuge.

I have been to Dachau. I thought I had seen a historical perspective on cruelty. This book hit me harder than the ovens of Dachau.

I don’t think I can be the same.

A story about "Here I Stand: A Life of Martin Luther" — 1 year ago

As I am reading about Luther’s opposition to scandalous indulgencess, I can’t help noticing the parallels to the anti-income tax movement. The anti-income tax movement challenges that they will pay the tax if they are shown a law where they must. Luther offered to recant if the cardinal could show something in writing where Luther was wrong. In both cases it is really about financing the bank. The bankers are the same after all these years – the Morgan family.

In Germany 500 years ago, the Morgans used the government of the Roman church as a tool. Today the Morgans use the government of the United States of America as a tool. In Germany 500 years ago, the purchase of indulgences was a matter of voluntary compliance into which government agents cajoled the population’s participation. Today in the United States of America, income tax is a matter of volunary compliance into which government agents cajole the population’s participation. In Germany 500 years ago, the population was lied to that the funds would go to a noble cause while the money actually went into the pockets of the Morgan family who financed the dubious projects of the government of the Roman church. Today in the United States of America, we are lied to about our tax dollars going to noble causes while the money actually goes into the pockets of the Morgan family who finances the dubious projects of the government.
