The first chapter of this book sucked me in completely! It made me want to re-write the first chapter of my crime novle more than anything I’ve read this year. It might not be the heights of intellectual endeavour, but it’s a great read so far. Kind of like the Matthew Reilly books, but less of the ‘written to sell the movie rights’ style.

I’ve already read this, but I’m reading it again because Ms Evanovich always cheers me up, I’ve just read two crap books that are both (sadly) Australian and not listed on AllConsuming. So this is just some brain-candy relaxation train reading. And there’s nothing wrong with that!

This book is HIGHLY recommended. An excellent read.

Bruen is up there with Rankin and I’ve only read 125 pages so far!! That’s got to be good. Thank you Mr. Honeybone.

This is more Evanovich brain candy to keep her fans occupied in between Stephanie Plum novel. Not nearly as good as Full House, but not bad for train reading.

I grabbed this on the way out of the house to read on the train. I’m on kind of a quest to find books that are both good and ‘light’. ‘Light’ referring to weight – my shoulder hurts.

I needed something to read on the train…and Peter Corris is awesome, but I have read it before.

This is the book I read whenever I”m not reading a book. If I could sit next to anyone in the world on a plane it would be sob Douglas Adams.

This was in a box that was on the top of the pile of boxes that are yet to be unpacked. Haven’t read it for years, but it sucked me back in…I couldn’t remember ‘whodunnit’ straightaway, but it does become obvious before it really needs to.

Not great, but not too woeful. A time filler.
