ER - The Complete Fourth Season

by Vern Gillum

I don’t know why amazon.com doesn’t have it yet, but amazon.co.uk certainly does. Marine and I love this series. It’s always a great loss when we’ve finished watching one set of dvd’s. The waiting!

Like the vulcano itself, I guess ;-)

Stephenson manages to get me interested in any topic he writes about (so far), and he’s got me crazy about the 17th century now. Interesting that Amsterdam (my beloved home-town) plays such a prominent role. Eagerly awaiting volume II.

He really covers everything of the physical sciences, with a style and a humorous slant that I greatly enjoyed.

This was my introduction to Bryson. Read some of his travel-books afterwards, which I can also heartily recommend.
