great story – excellent characterization
good story, but the writing wasn’t as good as her others – there was so much repetition!
terrific material for a spiritually oriented social group, but much of it not necessarily appropriate for a coven
excellent book and research about Gardner - great to glean a perspective on who Gardner was and perhaps why he did what he did - but without being slanted
he’s just such a great writer. As always, I had trouble with the number of characters he brings to life in his novels, but it was highly engaging, well-written, completely believable and undeniably rich.
good example of gen x, relationships and friendships – more of an entertaining read than all that thought provoking, however
pretty good, dark fantasy. Somewhat nature oriented so I liked it. I would read another of his books.
even BETTER than it’s prequel, Presumed Innocent! Turow is an excellent writer with highly engaging characters & plots. The characters are so entirely human.
supremely disappointed. This was a harlequin romance in disguise. Blah blah. Ugh! Shame on Alice!
quite neato – viewpoint of the future, disease, business, politics and government
