A story about "Şirince red table wine" — 3 years ago

This is a story of how I went to the market downstairs and spent three million (about two dollars) on a bottle of this wine, and was shocked to hell at how acceptable it was… so acceptable, in fact, that I felt obligated to drink the entire bottle.

Read it if you like Dan Brown — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book was definitely worth finishing. My only complaint is that the protagonist was a little bit dim-witted— you tend to figure things out 20 pages before he does, which I get a bit impatient with. But it was certainly more than okay as a light read. I would warn, however, that if you don’t like things in the same vein as The Da Vinci Code, this book probably isn’t for you.

You have to try these! — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

These are the incredibly tasty and easy-to-make latkes from Jonathan Bauer’s Collective Kitchen series of videocasts. I can’t cook worth a shit, but the instructions and ingredients were so simple and straightforward that I decided to give it a shot. Et voilà! The photo shown is taken by me— those are the actual latkes I made from this recipe! I know it seems like I’m getting overly excited about latkes, but I really don’t cook very well at all, and so I didn’t expect much. But these latkes are awesome. I can’t believe it! Definitely worth it.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This stuff is probably my favourite thing in the world right now. I drink at least one every day. Yum!

Why I recommend "Café Crown 3-in-1 vanilla" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I drink this every day in the winter, and it really helps keep you warm when it’s cold outside. You’re supposed to add hot water, but sometimes I make it with hot milk instead if I need comforting.

How "Nescafé Ice" changed my life — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

God, I practically lived on this stuff over the summer— it makes 122° heat a little more bearable. You just add the powder to milk, shake it up in a cocktail shaker, and pour over ice. Add vodka if it’s been one of those days. Fantastic.

Why I recommend "The Wind-up Bird Chronicle" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is one of my desert island books… I’m reading it through a second time now and it’s just as fresh and triggering as the first time.

Never mind Japanese cinema- get into Korean films! — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This film is, in a word, incredible. The sound design is insanely good, and the cinematography is second to none. I can’t believe I’m the only one here who’s seen this. Go out and rent it now!
