Well, that was disappointing. I probably should have read more reviews before going into it. The whole weak thriller aspect of it was unexpected and the writing was pretty bad. I’m honestly surprised that some of this writing got past the editors.

An Intelligent Person's Guide to Philosophy

I think philosophy may represent the biggest important gap in my knowledge. I feel like I have a passing knowledge of a good deal of modern philosophy by dint of reading about it, while not actually studying it. I’d like to know more.
