A Wonderful CD — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

They don’t call it The Most Relaxing Classical Album in the World…Ever for nothing! Soothing, beautiful classical music that lifts the spirit and calms the nerves. The perfect CD to put on when you’re trying to fall asleep.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Great stuff! If you have trouble sleeping take a few of these and they should knock you right out. It’s the powered extract of the root of the valerian herb. It’s been used for thousands of years to treat anxiety and insomnia.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I am completely hooked on this stuff. Anyone who has trouble sleeping should try this, but if you’re sick be careful not to mix it with Nyquil. I actually felt stoned.

The best comedy on television — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I stumbled upon The Office quite by accident when NBC had a marathon of four consecutive episodes. I was in hysterics from the first show to the last and have been hooked ever since. Having worked in an office environment for close to 15 years now I can honestly say it is by far the most accurate satire of cubicleland I’ve ever seen and that includes Office Space which is brilliant in its own right. The writing is spectacular, the acting is great (Steve Carell is phenominal), and the feel of the show is dead on perfect.

A Review of Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is surprisingly cute and from what I’ve been told light years better than the first one.

A Review of Cars — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The film is cute, there’s no doubt about that, but there’s still something missing. With the exception of Larry the Cable Guy, there is really no emotion or heart to this film. The “selfish person learns to care about others” storyline is so worn it’s almost thread bare. While not a bad movie, Cars is Pixar’s first real bump in the road and hopefully not a sign of things to come.

A review of "The Break-Up" — 3 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

This poorly and deceptively marketed film is severely marred by a clear attempt on the part of the studio to make this into something it’s not. It’s billed as a romantic comedy, but it is neither romantic nor a comedy. Instead it is shrill, annoying, outrageous (in a bad way) and ultimately crushed by a depressing (if realistic) final act. By the end, you’re glad to be rid of it and overwhelmed by the sense that the true irony of the film is both of these whiny, self-obsessed losers deserve each other even as their relationship is self-destructing.

A story about "Major League Baseball" — 3 years ago

There’s a reason they call it America’s Pastime.

A review of CSI — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

A pretty good show. Kind of gross as times, but with decent storytelling. I’ve enjoyed it when I’ve watched, but not enough to watch every week.
