WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie was surprisingly entertaining. I wasn’t sure how it would be, even given the all-star cast, but it turned out quite funny. I was laughing pretty much the whole way through.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I found the story too hard to follow, but I did like how everything came together at the end.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I know that I saw this but I didn’t find it particularly memorable. I remember it being mildly amusing, so I suppose it was worth watching.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Watched this last night. It’s a long movie, but a good one.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I really liked this movie, and was surprised at how good of a serious actor Will Farrell can be. I was a little dissatisfied with the ending, but I can’t really put my finger on why. I would still highly recommend this movie!

WORTH CONSUMING!

I found the basic idea behind this novel to be very interesting, and in general the implementation was pretty good. The book could have done without any references to Tarot. The ending was a bit abrupt, but appropriate and interesting. The epilogue was clearly tacked on afterwards, with a different narrative style, for the single purpose of leaving room for a sequel. I disapprove. Overall, it was an enjoyable read. I don’t feel especially compelled to read the sequels, but I might someday if I’m bored.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is a relatively easy and short read in comparison to most of the other sci-fi books out there, but it’s a good one. I first read this book for school in 7th grade, but I read it again last week and still found it worthwhile.

I think the reason I like this book so much is that it’s well thought out, yet remains action-oriented, and it caters to the romantic in all of us while dealing with some fairly practical issues.

A story about "The Cat Who Walks Through Walls" — 3 years ago

Up until the last 80 pages or so, this was a real page-turner. But toward the end, the story started to get sort of wacky, and I had trouble getting through it. I wouldn’t have tolerated this sort of writing at the beginning of the book, I would have simply stopped reading. But since I was so close to the end…

I suppose it might be better if, as another post mentioned, you have read other books with the same characters. Which I have not.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is sci-fi mystery at its best. Even though I’d read the book before and remembered parts of the mystery, it was a highly enjoyable read. The kind of book that you just don’t want to put down. It was a good mystery, too, in that you (or I, at least) wouldn’t guess the ending but all the signs point to it. Zahn is an excellent writer.

A story about "Donnie Darko" — 3 years ago

I love sci-fi, so it disheartens me to say I didn’t love the movie. Mostly, I just found it confusing, even after I’d read some of the director’s commentary.
