I was sort of disappointed by this book; I guess I’m just not interested in reading literature analysis – I’d rather read the literature itself.

I’ve been reading this in chunks via email from DailyLit. Right now I’m on chapter 6.

I’m still working on this book. I come back to it every couple months or so. It’s been good and interesting so far, but I can’t tell how helpful it’s been since I haven’t written anything yet :-)

I’d rather have watched a documentary. I didn’t think the acting & recreated scenes added much value.

This is more of a love story than the science fiction novel I was expecting. I listened it as an audiobook while my younger brother and I were driving from Seattle to L.A. I loved it, but Brother thought it was only ok. I can understand why we have this difference of opinion; the themes highlighted with the book really resonate with me at this point in my life, whereas they’re not so relevant to my brother. Also, it was a little awkward listening to the sex scenes…

I plan to read this book again (this time on paper!)

I like Nirvana, but this CD just sounds like a bunch of bad covers of themselves.

There are two good songs on this album, and the rest are boring to listen to.

After awhile I was able to get over the really horrible acting and enjoy the story. I’ve heard I’ll appreciate the 1st season even more when I see the later seasons and how well the first season paved the path for them.
