Speedbuggy is one of my favorite bands to see live. The guys really put all their heart and soul into their gigs and this is one of their best albums. Six really strong songs including covers of Merle Haggard’s Swinging Doors and Johnny Cash’s Drive On.

I’ve been knitting on and off for a couple of years and just started crocheting about three weeks ago and have been practicing the single crochet stitch. I am now working on my first project, a queen-sized afghan. After a week, I’m about half-way through my third row! :) It’s too ambitious of a first project, I know, especially since I don’t really know how to crochet well, but the heating bill is killing me! So I’m being impatient.
