The Red Tent is the BEST book I have ever read! I’ve read it three times already, and it gets better each time.

This book gave me an insight into the world of my female ancestors. The way Anita weaves the story around history itself along with the biblical story is magical. This was a wonderful read, and I think that all women should read it!

The author is extremely full of himself. It seems that he rushes to quick decisions about his patients problems.

However, he tries to help people.

Good book… it became hard to read in certain places because of how I, as I’m sure every woman, related to the book personally. The author seems to put herself on the same level as her patients (which is great), but puts herself on a pedestal when discussing cultural issues.

Good read overall.
