I checked out this book from the library just to read the article by my old professor, Mark Addison Amos:

A bit draggy to read cover to cover, but a very interesting reasearch book.

Very dense reading, I just couldn’t sit down and read it cover to cover. Very interesting sections however, I will read all of it some day.

Dissappointing, it wasn’t even satisfying enough to make it a beach read. Less than 2 hours in the car & I was done, predictable plot, pretentious historical fiction. Thumbs down.

Loved it. Now let me go read sylvia plath in the kitchen…

I was very disappointed with this book. I was expecting (hoping for?) something of the same calibre as Focault’s Pendulum. The conspiracies have little basis in history if any at all, the details are flawed, and the ending is trite.

The section on Colleen Moore’s Fairy Castle was very interesting.

Much better than the movie, “The Ninth Gate”.

I just can’t take any more latin names right now, so this book is going back to the library. Maybe I will finish it at a future date.

I read this for the first time back in grade school, and re-read it this past summer. It still holds up as a great story.
