A story about "chinese wild yam (Dioscoreae)" — 3 years ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
The best yam texture I had ever had. Smooth yet an interwoven feeling with a very very light aroma. I learned to cook Dioscoreae (Dioscorea Opposita Thunb), a delicate chinese wild yam, from a master monk of a Japanese temple on TV from the show “Iron Chef”. It can be made into dishes like soup, rice, even desserts.
