A story about "The Last Kiss (Widescreen Edition)" — 2 years ago
I realized midway through that I just didn’t care much about any of the characters.

I’m still deciding how much I liked this. I think my first impression is that it’s definitely worth watching once, but it’s not the kind of thing I could watch again and again. Interesting. Maybe if I’d taken Existentialism I’d understand it better, haha…but there was something compelling and charming about it despite its somewhat out-there-ness. (‘Cause, you know, that’s a word.)
I tried to like Yo La Tengo, I swear, but by the third album I’ve listened to, I’m still not convinced. I like the song “Autumn Sweater” a lot, but that’s all that really caught my attention.
This my new favorite show of all time – too bad I didn’t discover it till after it was cancelled! Absolutely hilarious. Each episode gets me rolling on the floor laughing. Can’t wait to start season two…!
So good! I started about midnight and finished around two a.m. because I couldn’t put it down. Now I want to see the play…
This is a beautifully written book about the friendship between two couples. Although these are ordinary people with ordinary lives, I was never bored for lack of an exciting plot. Simply the exploration of the relationships between these four people was enough. I found myself really caring about the characters, and the language is wonderful.
The name of the album makes me pretty happy. But I feel sort of “eh” about Yo La Tengo in general, even seeing them live. Nothing about them stands out to me, I guess.
I’m not a big fan of Yo La Tengo – I think the word I’d use to describe the CD is “forgettable.” I did like “Cherry Chapstick,” on the other hand.
