I loved the song “wish you were here” I can’t really recall the other songs, I lost the cd at some point.

I have memories of listening to this cd on walkman while riding around london, you can’t beat that.

Ahh one of my favorite things in the world. I am living abroad and every once in a while I get together with my other American buddies and we make a big breakfast: bacon, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, the works… We will eat this at any time in the day. One ill fated day I invited my Spanish friend over to join in the feast, we were making french toast which she had never experienced before. She took a look at all the fat and butter involved and said: no como asi…I don’t eat like this, and she just ate some fruit. Wow we felt like fatties but oh so gloriously happy!!

I really enjoyed this book. The plot was intriguing and quite strong. It is the kind of book which is hard to put down. It really opens up your eyes to the history of Afghanistan. I would definitely recommend it.
