A review of "Boy" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This album is really good!
I mean, you can’t really compare it to U2’s key albums like ‘Achtung baby’ or ’ The Joshua Tree’, but this sure was a really great start for this band.
I’m listening to it again a lot more now, since it really is very connected to their latest album (‘How to dismantle an atomic bomb’) and plain because the songs are great!
‘I Will Follow’, ‘The Electric Co.’ and especially ‘Out of Control’ are really nice, punk tunes that are purely timeless and that U2 still sing with as much meaning now(probably more) as they did 26 years ago when the record was released!
If you haven’t listened to it yet, believe me, you’re really missing out! ;)

Why I recommend "Pride and Prejudice (Bantam Classics)" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book is simply marvelous!
I loved it so, so much!
The dialogue is splendid – Jane Austen was a genius!
I feel like this will be one of those books which I will reread a hundred times and always love it a little more!
Everyone should read it, don’t be prejudiced (;P) that it’s got the romantic plot in it, it’s such a bitting description of the society, it’s manners and vanities, and done so in such an exiting on-the-edge-of-your-seat way that you’ll forget about that and be emerged by the book pronto – I sure did.

How "Achtung Baby" changed my life — 2 years ago

I’ll never ever be done with it because it’s like a diamond shapped record, every time you look at it a different part glows.
Bono described the song ‘The Fly’ as ‘the sound of four men chopping down The Joshua Tree’ and it really is that and much more.
Achtung Baby is probably the record of my life, and, in some ways, U2 will never ever top it (though in many others they already have).
I recommend it deeply! A person should not live without having listened to this…
Play it once and get past the big singles (aka ‘One’) ... the last two songs, ‘Acrobat’ and ‘Love is Blindness’ are simply great, as is the rest of the record, so give it a chance, play it and replay it, you’ll probably fall in love with it too :)
